History of the collection
Brian started his personal collection some 30 years ago & over time has continued to add items on a regular basis - The motivation for the collection was simply a love (if you can call it that) of all things conected with the military and more especially the Royal Air Force.
It was not until Brian & Linda moved to their current location that Brian had room to put his collection in one place - This is the museum as it is today, although there have been a few modifications to accommodate even more memorabilia yet to be displayed!
The museum is tucked away in the grounds of the garden center and is somewhat like Dr Who's "Tardis" (the locals actually do call it 'The Tardis') - From the outside appearance you might not even know there was a museam there - but once you enter
There's everything from original artefacts of war to model replicas of aircraft (old and new), Brian has put together an absolute treasure trove for you to enjoy.
